Tucan encourages shade coffee cultivation, thus benefiting the birds and wildlife, specifically in Honduras where the Tucan bird inhabits the tall trees where it roosts and nests. These birds live in the upper part of the tree canopy. Preserving their natural habitat and the tropical soil conditions is imperative for the well-being of future generations.
